In Frame 1, we begin to identify our "Ideal Self" by completing exercises such as the Values Card Game. By identifying our values, we will not only identify what is most important to us, but we will also identify a moral direction or a “Moral Compass” for our actions.
Interestingly, there are four universal values or principles common to all mankind: Integrity, Responsibility, Forgiveness and Compassion. Furthermore, we have found that the most effective leaders embrace these four principles. Listed above are a few descriptions of these principles, as well as the natural by-product of practicing them. For example, a leader who actively cares about his/her employees’ best interests will experience greater retention rates than the leader who does not.
The end result? Practicing the four universal principles leads to a workforce which: trusts the leadership, is inspired and energized, feels free to be creative and innovative, and views their work life as a career versus "just a job".
