The Group - Alignment Model - Behavior
Back to Alignment Model

In Frame 3 of the Alignment Model, we begin to explore our behavior. In Frame 1, we identify our “Ideal Self”. In Frame 3, we identify our “Real Self”. Although it sounds simple, it is often very difficult to align our behavior with our values.

We can begin to understand and improve our behavior by examining our “Experience”, which includes our Thoughts, Feelings and Actions.

LAG created the “Freeze Moment” to help us better understand our experience. In doing so, we develop a critical competency called “Self-Awareness”. “Self-Awareness” occurs when we can clearly understand what we are thinking, feeling and doing at the present time.

To help us develop “Self-Awareness”, LAG created an exercise titled the “Freeze Moment”. With practice, we can learn how to become more self-aware and close the gap between our “Ideal Self” and our “Real Self”.
